PERMA SOLUTIONS FOR WATER BEARING STRUCTURES Dear Sir, This week we are going to consider old and new sunk slab, water tanks, swimming pools, and under ground water tanks, water proofing problems. We normally do B.B. coba waterproofing for all these structures, and after 2 years may be find leakage from these areas. We normally believe that BB coba has failed and re doing is required, but this is not the case. During the life span of concrete structure fine shrinkage cracks do develop which leads to waterproofing problem. To eliminate this problem we suggest use of PERMA SEAL ,CRYSTALINE based waterproofing system, to be directly applied on wet concrete surface , which works in presence of water with free lime in concrete and forms the crystals, to fill practically all shrinkage cracks. This process is on going and continuous. After application of PERMA SEAL we can do normal IPS waterproofing for finishing and to maintain slope to drain water. Cost / sft. = Rs.12/ SQ.FT. (labor cost extra.) PERMA SEAL works on negative side waterproofing also, so it is useful for repairing of old structures even.
